Cure For A Hangover

Hangovers are very unpleasant the day after a good night of drinking. There are many symptoms, some include headaches, nausea and fatigue. Depending on what you drank and how much of it you drank. Red wine is know to give the most headaches because of the levels of toxic chemicals and congeners.

Congeners are the by-products of the fermentation process. They say the clearer the alcohol the less of a hangover you will get. Alcohol breaks down the sugar supply in the liver causing you to feel fatigued. Drinking to much causes your body to be depleted of many things including water, salt, sugars and more.

Some natural home hangover remedies are: booze

Drink a glass of water for every drink you consume
Try to eat some salty snacks will drinking or even after drinking, this will help your body store more water.
Eat before going to bed, this helps slow the rate that the alcohol is absorb. Also giving your body some nutrients that were lost during drinking. I find bread to work great. So go make sandwich.

If you are already hung over:

  • Drink as much water as you can. Remember a salty snack will help
  • If you are feeling fatigued try and drink some fruit juices. This will give your liver some fructose that was lost during drinking. (tomato juice or orange juice work best for me)
  • A few other foods that can help a hangover are bananas, honey and bread.
  • If you drank sugary drinks or drinks with colas. Try drinking a cola or adding some sugar to your water or fruit drink. Your body is lacking it so give some back.
  • Try to stay away from coffee
  • Get as much sleep as you can. But make sure you will be able to fall asleep tonight.
  • Don't lay on the couch all day, get some exercise, it will help
